NAMEThe heading contains the plant's generic name, its Englisch common name (if available), and its Latin family name.
Listed under the generic name are the species and any varieties and cultivars.
CUTTINGPERIODE *)This column indicates either which months have been proved to produce the best results or the months in which pruning/cuttings are available. Good results, however, are also sometimes possible to achieve during oher periods.

The period indicated here can vary somewhat from year to year due to wheather conditions. When this happens, it may be necessary to use another concnetration growth hormone.
CUTTINGMEDIUM *)The medium used for propagating the cuttings is indicated by F (field soil) when planting hardwood cuttings, or by P (peat) or S (sand) or a ratio indicating the mixture of these ingredients (peat and sand) when planting softwoord, semi-hardwood or tip-cuttings.OTHER CUTTING MEDIA
Research stations are continuously experimenting with adding artificial and natural materials to cutting media in order to find the most suiteable composition for each crop. The cutting medium's composition is an important factor in growth and development.

S/P
SOLUTION OR POWDER

S = Solution
Unless otherwise stated, it is assumed that the absorption method is to be used. The various ways of using a Rhizopon solution are described in:
Working with Rhizopon tablets

P = Powder
The use of Rhizopon and Chryzo powder is described in:
Working with Rhizopon powders
PRODUCTWhenever the use of a solution is recommended <S>, this column indicates the kind of RHIZOPON tablets to be used as well as the amount (in milligrams) of active ingredientin each tablet. RHIZOPON tablets are available in packs of 20 or 200 tablets. When the dry-dip method is recommended you will find in this column the appropriate RHIZOPON or CHRYZO type as well as the concentration of the active ingredient. Each of these concentrations is available as a ready-to-use product.When the use of powder <P> is recommended, this column indicates the kind of RHIZOPON or CHRYZO to use. The powder concentrations indicated are available as ready-to-use products. RHIZOPON is available in packs of 100 gram, 500 gram and 10 kilogram. CHRYZO's are available in packs of 350 gram and 10 kilogram.
CONCENTRATION NEEDEDThe necessary amount of active ingredient per litre of water, as well as the application method.
NUMBER OF
TABLETS/LITRE
The number of tablets that have to be dissolved in one litre of water to produce the concentration indicated in the previous column.
When low concentrations are indicated, the number of litres water is indicated as well.

*) Use only on woody plants, perennial plants and container plants.
